The first parts for the model of the DAF tractor: mudguards and engine hood.

followed by the chassis and grille,

After that the cab follows.
The Wiking-wheels have been completed with Kibri-rims.

The semi-trailer with its swing-axles under construction.

The side-stakes of the semi are made from a brass strip.

  The model ready for brushing.

The first brushing works with 'DAF-red'.

The floor of the semi received a layer of thin veneer.

Of course a load of sawed wood may not be forgotten...

The inscriptions at the cabin door were fixed with a thin layer of varnish.

The load of wood has been finished. The tilts were made from tissue and folded while using white glue.

Model of the DAF A 1600. For the cab a copy-moulded one (Holland Oto) has been used.

The model was painted by hand and the inscriptions were printed (red) and made of rub-off symbols (white).

In scale 1:87: Volvo L495 of Fa. M. Verweij & Zn. from The Hague. Except of the wheels the model was scratchbuilt.

The potato bags were made of clay. The load covers were made of a tissue that was rubbed in with wood glue while folding.

Ladders and railing of the cover rack were soldered of  metal wire (0,3 mm). The containers have inlays of fine veneer.

The completely scratchbuilt unfinished...

...and finished model of the Kylfrakt Göteborg AB Volvo L495.

The model tractor has functional steering and lift axles. The engine hood can be opened.

The lighting was put into operation by working up the photo.
